Read the situation below and make your decision

Washington's Continental Army has just suffered a catastrophic defeat at the Battle of Long Island. The British have outmaneuvered him, and his army of 9,000 men is trapped on Brooklyn Heights with the East River at their backs.

His generals are divided. Some want to make a last stand. The army is exhausted, demoralized, and outnumbered.

If the British attack again before he can move, the war ends here.

You know only what Washington knew in 1776.

YOUR DECISION

Stand and fight

Defend Brooklyn Heights and accept the losses.
And nine thousand men may not survive the morning.

Retreat across the river

Evacuate the army in silence under cover of night.
And if the British notice, there is nowhere left to run.
